Jessica Ennis-Hill keeps heptathlon lead after shot put

Jessica Ennis-Hill stays in the lead of the Women's heptathlon after throwing 13.73m in the shot put.

Jessica Ennis-Hill remains in the lead of the heptathlon after the shot put, but fellow Briton Katarina Johnson-Thompson has dropped to ninth.

The Olympic champion fouled with her first throw, but was able to post a distance of 13.73m with a second-round attempt.

Belgium's Nafissatou Thiam produced a personal best of 15.24m to move into second in the overall standings, 34 points behind Ennis-Hill.

European Indoor champions Katarina Johnson-Thompson produced a best throw of 12.47m, but is now 114 points behind the leader after three events.
