Rugby star Danny Cipriani reportedly turns down an offer to take part in Celebrity Big Brother.

Rugby star Danny Cipriani reportedly turned down a big-money offer to take part in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The 36-year-old - recently seen on Strictly Come Dancing over Christmas - split from his wife several months ago and The Sun says that the offer of entering the CBB house has come too soon.

A source told the newspaper: "Danny was in talks and got a massive offer to do the show, but after his marriage split it wasn't right for him.

"He'd already done the Strictly Christmas special but thought going into the house would be too much pressure after the breakup."

Celebrity Big Brother launches tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
