Levi Roots reportedly signs up to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.

Chef and entrepreneur Levi Roots has reportedly signed up to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.

The 65-year-old shot to fame on Dragons' Den in 2007 with his Reggae Reggae Sauce, a product which went on to earn him an estimated £30 million.

A host of names have been linked with the show, including Shirley Ballas and Phillip Schofield, but The Mirror says that the first person to sign on the dotted line is Roots.

"Levi will be great for the Celebrity Big Brother house," a source told the newspaper. "He's got a few exciting projects coming up and he's such a fun character."

The show is expected to begin on ITV1 and ITVX in March.
