Lord Sugar slams "DELUDED PILLOCK" Piers Morgan

Lord Sugar launches a fresh attack on Piers Morgan, accusing him of "taking credit" for a government U-turn on overseas NHS workers and Captain Moore's knighthood.

Lord Sugar has launched a fresh attack on former friend Piers Morgan, accusing him of "taking credit" for a government U-turn on NHS workers.

The Good Morning Britain host has been heavily critical of the government's handling of the coronavirus crisis, leading to ministers boycotting the show and a huge public fallout with Sugar via Twitter.

Today Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed that the government had decided to axe the fee payable by overseas NHS staff for using the service themselves, an issue that Morgan had been particularly vocal about on the breakfast show.

Following the PM's announcement, Morgan posted a tweet that implied the government's U-turn on the matter was down to him, prompting Sugar to respond: "YOU DELUDED PILLOCK TAKING CREDIT FOR THIS AND CAPTAIN TOM'S KNIGHTHOOD. WHO THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ?"

In recent weeks Sugar has also referred to Morgan as an "obnoxious self-centred tosser" and a "sickening bully".
