First Dates star Fred Sirieix is reportedly in talks about appearing on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Producers of the show are now believed to be finalising the star lineup for the new series, which is due to begin on ITV - live from Australia - in mid-November.

According to The Sun, 51-year-old Sirieix - also star of Gordon, Gino and Fred - is "close" to agreeing to take part, despite previously admitting that he was put off by the show's infamous Bush Tucker Trials.

"Show bosses hope he'll be a hit with the ladies watching, which is part of the reason they've targeted him," a source said.

"Everyone's really excited that they're close to signing him up."

Other celebs rumoured for the show include This Morning presenter Josie Gibson, The Apprentice's Thomas Skinner, jockey Frankie Dettori and former referee Mike Dean.
