ITV will reportedly make a decision on whether this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! will take place in Wales or Australia in September.

ITV will reportedly wait until September before making a decision on the location of this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Last year the show was staged at Gwrych Castle in North Wales rather than the Australian jungle due to coronavirus travel restrictions, although ITV is hoping that production can return to Australia this year.

With the travel situation likely to remain up in the air for some time yet, however, The Mirror says that ITV will refrain from making a decision until the last possible moment.

"Everyone is keen to get back Down Under this year but, of course, it depends on what the Australian authorities will allow," a source told the newspaper.

"We won't know for sure if we can get back to the Gold Coast until the start of autumn, when things will be much clearer. Until then, it's a waiting game."

The series is due to begin in mid-November.
