Daredevil is reportedly poised to make a comeback on Disney+.

A new season of Daredevil is reportedly in the early stages of development at Disney+.

The show stars Charlie Cox as blind lawyer Matt Murdock, who turns into a crime-fighting vigilante known as Daredevil in his spare time.

Netflix cancelled the show in 2018 after three seasons - along with all of its other Marvel spinoff shows - and the rights have since reverted to Disney.

After Cox made a surprise cameo as the character in Spider-Man: No Way Home, there were rumours that Daredevil could be resurrected, and according to Variety, Disney+ is now working on a new season.

The publication says that Matt Corman and Chris Ord have been signed up to write and executive produce the new season, while Cox reprising his role would be an almost certainty.

Marvel has yet to confirm the rumours.
