Matt Robinson extends Luton Town contract

Midfielder Matt Robinson signs a new three-year contract with League Two side Luton Town.

Matt Robinson has committed his future to Luton Town by signing a new contract with the club.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Hatters from Leicester City two years ago, has tied himself to Kenilworth Road until the summer of 2017.

"He is one of many players that encapsulate what we are trying to do at this club," Luton boss John Still told the club's official website.

"Matthew is a player who has already made a huge contribution to this club and we hope last season's success is the first of many."

Meanwhile, midfielder Robinson added: "It's nice to have people put faith in you. The manager has ambitions to take this club much higher than League 2 and to be a part of that would be amazing."

Robinson has scored three goals during his 52 appearances for Luton.
