Barcelona have reportedly identified AC Milan forward Rafael Leao as a summer transfer target.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 11 times and contributing six assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.
Leao still has two years left to run on his current deal at San Siro, but there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent months, with Manchester City believed to be admirers.
According to Sport, there is also genuine interest from Barcelona, with the Catalan club keen to explore the possibility of signing him during this summer's transfer window.
Xavi's side are said to be looking at alternatives to Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland in the event that they are unable to sign the Norwegian in the upcoming market.
Leao has scored 24 goals and registered 15 assists in 104 appearances for Milan since joining the Serie A outfit from Lille in 2019.
Bayer Leverkusen's Patrik Schick is also allegedly being monitored by Barcelona, with the Catalan outfit keen to sign another forward ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
