Leroy Sane's Manchester City teammates believe that the German will join Bayern Munich next year, according to a report.

Leroy Sane's Manchester City teammates are reportedly convinced that the Germany international will leave the club in 2020 to complete a move to Bayern Munich.

The attacker was strongly linked with a switch to the Allianz Arena throughout the summer transfer window, only for a serious knee injury to scupper Bayern's chances of signing him.

Sane is expected to return to action in the early stages of 2020, but the 23-year-old's future remains up in the air as his contract at the Etihad Stadium will expire in June 2021.

According to The Telegraph, the City squad 'are increasingly convinced' that the German will leave the English champions to join the Bundesliga champions either in January or next summer.

Bayern are reportedly lining up a £69m offer for a player who has scored 39 times and contributed 45 assists in 134 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side in all competitions.

City are currently nine points off Premier League leaders Liverpool ahead of their home clash with Chelsea next weekend.
