Mauricio Pochettino does not plan to remain at Paris Saint-Germain beyond the end of the season, according to a report.

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly ready to step down from his role as Paris Saint-Germain manager at the end of the season.

The 49-year-old has already won the Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions at the Parc des Princes, but doubts persist over his long-term future in the French capital.

PSG are expected to regain their Ligue 1 crown from Lille this season, but Pochettino is supposedly unhappy at his situation in Paris and is pining for a move elsewhere.

According to Foot Mercato, Pochettino is 'fed up' and unimpressed with the way that PSG is being run, leading to a frosty relationship with sporting director Leonardo over a failed move for Tanguy Ndombele.

The report adds that Pochettino will therefore not be in the dugout for the 2022-23 season, and Manchester United are increasingly confident of hiring the Argentine in the summer.

PSG are expected to pursue Zinedine Zidane should Pochettino leave this year, and the former Real Madrid boss supposedly wants to bring Arsene Wenger to the club to replace Leonardo.
