Atletico Madrid have reportedly not received a single offer for Saul Niguez this summer despite talk of interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly not received a single offer for Saul Niguez during this summer's transfer window despite the speculation surrounding the midfielder.

The Spaniard has been strongly linked with a move away from Wanda Metropolitano in the current market, with Manchester United and Liverpool both said to be interested in his services.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Diego Simeone's side have not received an offer for the 26-year-old, suggesting that he will stay with the La Liga champions this summer.

Saul, who has also been linked with Barcelona, was a regular for Atletico during the 2020-21 campaign, making 41 appearances in all competitions.

The midfielder only contributed two goals and one assist for the capital giants, though, and he is thought to be keen on the idea of seeking pastures new before the end of the transfer window.

Saul has made 337 appearances for the Spanish champions in all competitions and still has five years left to run on his contract in Madrid.
