Manchester United will consider selling five first-team players during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly considering selling five first-team players during the January transfer window, as the club attempt to trim their large squad.

The 20-time English champions are not expected to be overly active in the winter market in terms of bringing new players to the club, but there are likely to be outings at Old Trafford.

According to the Manchester Evening News, as many as five first-team players could be on the move, including Anthony Martial, who has signalled a desire to seek pastures new at the start of 2022.

The report also claims that Jesse Lingard - out of contract next summer - and number two goalkeeper Dean Henderson could leave the club during the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, Donny van de Beek's future continues to be called into question, as the Netherlands international has also struggled for regular action since Ralf Rangnick's arrival.

Man United would also allegedly consider selling Paul Pogba for the right money next month, with the France international's contract at the club due to expire next June.
