Injury blocks Alexis Sanchez's Manchester United exit path?

A report claims that Alexis Sanchez is now set to stay at Manchester United in January after being ruled out of action for a month.

Alexis Sanchez's chances of leaving Manchester United in January are reportedly dwindling as the Chilean faces a spell on the sidelines with a leg injury.

United revealed on Thursday that the 29-year-old, who only arrived at Old Trafford from Arsenal in January, damaged his hamstring in training.

Sanchez has been sent for further scans but, according to the London Evening Standard, the wantaway star is expected to be out until the end of the year.

The report claims that Sanchez had been ready to quit the Red Devils in early 2019, but his hopes of doing so have now taken a huge blow as he will no longer be able to put himself in the shop window.

Paris Saint-Germain had been tipped to make a move for the former Barcelona ace, who has one goal in seven starts this season.
