Manchester United 'open to Paul Pogba swap deal'

Manchester United are open to talking to Juventus about a possible swap deal for Paul Pogba, according to a report.

Manchester United would reportedly be open to speaking with Juventus over the possibility of a swap deal for Paul Pogba during this summer's transfer window.

Real Madrid have allegedly pulled out of the race for the France international, but Juve continue to be credited with an interest ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

Pogba's current deal at Old Trafford is due to expire next summer, although United do have the option of activating a 12-month extension, potentially to protect his value.

According to Tuttosport, United are aware that the coronavirus outbreak makes a straight cash deal unlikely, and the English giants would therefore be open to a potential swap deal.

Adrien Rabiot has been mentioned as a possible makeweight, and the Frenchman would allegedly be open to moving to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side this summer.

Pogba has only made eight appearances for United this season and has not featured since December, having undergone an ankle operation in the early stages of 2020.

The 2018 World Cup winner won four Serie A titles during his four years at Juve.
