Ronald Koeman refuses to rule out Ousmane Dembele Man Utd move

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman refuses to rule out the possibility of Ousmane Dembele leaving the club this summer amid speculation linking him with Manchester United.

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has refused to rule out the possibility of Ousmane Dembele leaving the club amid speculation of interest from Manchester United.

The Red Devils are understood to have identified Dembele as a possible alternative to top target Jadon Sancho and could make a loan move for the Frenchman before Monday's transfer deadline.

The 23-year-old has struggled with form and fitness since his big-money move to Barcelona and now seems to be behind Ansu Fati in the pecking order at Camp Nou.

Dembele has only played 20 minutes in Barcelona's two games so far this season, and Koeman has suggested that a move away could be possible.

"[Dembele] is a Barca player. His future depends on what he thinks," Koeman told reporters.

"I haven't spoken to him about his future. We'll see. I want to have happy people here, if [players] aren't happy because they don't play, they can speak to me.

"Dembele hasn't told me anything. If nothing happens, I'm counting on him and he will have options [to play]."

Donny van de Beek remains Manchester United's only summer signing so far.
