Zinedine Zidane would be open to replacing Mauricio Pochettino as Paris Saint-Germain manager should the job become available, according to a report.

Ex-Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is reportedly open to taking the reins at Paris Saint-Germain should the club part ways with Mauricio Pochettino.

The Frenchman has been out of the game since leaving the Bernabeu at the end of last season and has been strongly linked with the Manchester United job in recent days.

However, Zidane supposedly has no interest in replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford, with the World Cup winner now seeking a job closer to home.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Zidane would be interested in managing PSG should the job become available, but Pochettino's future at the Parc des Princes not thought to be entirely secure.

The report adds that Zidane does not feel the need to rush back into management, but his strong relationship with Sergio Ramos could convince him to take the next step in his homeland, while Kylian Mbappe is also a keen admirer of the 49-year-old.

Zidane steered Real Madrid to three Champions Leagues and two La Liga titles during two separate spells in the hotseat and would reportedly also be open to managing France if Didier Deschamps steps down.
