Wolverhampton Wanderers pulled out of a deal for Djurgardens defender Felix Beijmo in the latter stages of the January transfer window, according to a report.

Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly pulled out of a deal for Djurgardens defender Felix Beijmo in the latter stages of the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who is a 12-time Sweden Under-19 international, joined his current club from Brommapojkarna in 2017.

According to Expressen, Wolves were pursuing a deal for the teenager throughout Wednesday, but the Championship outfit decided to pull the plug at the final moment.

Wolves signed Ben Stevenson, Benik Afobe and Rafa Mir during the winter transfer window.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side have won 20 of their 29 league fixtures this season, with a total of 65 points leaving them 11 points clear of second-placed Derby County at the top of the Championship table.
