German magazine Die Aktuelle has been heavily criticised for publishing a misleading front-page image of stricken Formula 1 star Michael Schumacher.
The seven-time world champion has not been seen in public since suffering a serious skiing accident on December 29, after which he was in an induced coma for around nine months.
On the front cover of the women's lifestyle magazine, an image of Schumacher wearing aviator-style sunglasses and a black winter coat was accompanied by the headline: 'What luck! He sits in the sun!'
The phrase 'moments that touch our hearts' was also added to the cover, but the picture used was actually taken in St Moritz, Switzerland on January 26, 2013.
The publication claims that the 45-year-old is "pushed onto the terrace" in a wheelchair by his wife Corinna on "mild autumn days".
According to the Daily Star, numerous other magazines have slammed the publication, including Germany's Focus, who claim that the cover is "deceptive", while website Motorsport.com has asked: "How low can you go?"
Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm recently claimed that the retired sportsman is "making progress" at his home in Geneva.
