Cause of Causes wins National Hunt Chase

The JP McManus-owned Cause of Causes wins the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

The National Hunt Chase at the 2015 Cheltenham Festival was won by Cause of Causes this afternoon.

Over the four miles, the lead changed hands on several occasions, but it was down the home straight where Cause of Causes, who was being ridden by Jamie Codd, came into contention.

The Job Is Right held a slight advantage heading over the final fence, but Cause of Cause powered away to eventually win through.

Katie Walsh on Broadway Buffalo finished second, while The Job Is Right held on for third.
