Alexandre Lacazette to leave Arsenal this summer?

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly set to leave the club this summer, with Atletico Madrid and Monaco both keeping a close eye on the situation.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has reportedly decided to seek pastures new in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The former Lyon man has seen his future frequently called into question over the past year, despite leading the way in terms of goals for Arsenal with 11 strikes in all competitions this season.

Lacazette bagged the Gunners' second from the penalty spot in Sunday's 3-1 triumph at Leicester City, but he has struggled for starts of late over his teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

As a result, football.london reports that the France international is set to end his four-year association with the Gunners this summer, with his current contract set to expire in less than 18 months' time.

Atletico Madrid have been linked with a swoop for the Arsenal man, while Monaco have also been tipped to bring Lacazette back to his homeland for the 2021-22 campaign.

Lacazette boasts nine goals in the current Premier League campaign and has amassed 59 goals in 157 games for the Gunners since his 2017 arrival, as well as winning one FA Cup with the capital club.
