Hello all and thanks for joining me tonight. Not long until kickoff, so I'll get the two teams right over to you.

FIORENTINA XI: Rosati; Roncaglia, Rodriguez, Compper, Pasqual; Ambrosini, Pizarro, Valero; Ilicic, Gomez, Matos

ESBJERG XI Dubravka; Laursen, Lucena, Drobo-Ampem, Knudsen; Rasmussen, Bergvold, J Andersen, Nielsen; Pusic; Van Buren

KICKOFF: Here we go then! Can Esbjerg do anything against the huge, huge favourites Fiorentina?

Fiorentina straight on to the ball here and they've pretty much set up camp in the away team's half early on. No chances for either side as yet, though. It's a lovely surface to play on.

Esbjerg have not been overrun so far and have looked to play the ball when they have had it. However, they don't quite have the ability to hold it for too long in the face of Viola's pressing.

SHOT! First sign of a chance that is for Fiorentina, but it ends up well over the bar. Matos was heading away from goal and shot on the turn from around the penalty spot, but couldn't keep it down.

Half-chance for Nielsen as he got in down the right, but it was well defended from Pasqual who got back and conceded the corner. The tempo is quite relaxed in this one at the moment.

Fiorentina are still seeing a lot of the ball, but have still not created a real chance as yet. Esbjerg will be pleased with their work at the back, but they have a lot to do if they are to get back in the tie.

Fiorentina are doing well to take the sting out of this game. They know there's no rush for them to score and the fact that they aren't being hassled on the ball means that this one isn't the most exciting game of football. At least at the moment.

Nothing much to report in the last few minutes. The visitors have seen a bit more of the ball but it's all too rare that they venture beyond the half-way line. It's all too easy for the Italian side.

Vincenzo Montella looks relaxed on the sidelines, his players look relaxed on the pitch. The crowd probably look quite relaxed too. They will want to see some chances, however, of which there have been very few so far.

CLOSE! Very close indeed from Compper, who met a corner at the far post but nodded his effort just wide. It looked to be going in but he just needed a bit more luck.

Esbjerg manage to clear the next set piece, but Fiorentina are back well and Roncaglia wins the tackle to put the ball out for a throw. The away side still yet to have an effort on goal.

So it remains 3-1 on aggregate to the home side from their good showing in the away leg. That result meant that the tie was as good as over and they're certainly showing as much here.

Half-chance for the home side there. The ball was clipped to the far post where Ambrosini looked to meet it, but Laursen defended well to put the midfielder under pressure.

I think that's the first time either keeper has been tested - Matos drives through the middle and Dubravka is down low to hold on. Fiorentina turning the screw a little bit now.

CLOSE! Powerful strike that from Pizarro! A free kick from the right is cut across to him and although his shot from about 25 yards has a lot of power it goes wide of the near post.

Will we get a goal before the break? It would certainly be a surprise given how the first 35 minutes of the game went. Ilicic is running a lot, but he hasn't been involved much at all so far.

ESBJERG SUB: Forced change for the away team, as the limping Rasmussen makes way for Mikkel Vestergaard.

The substitutes are enjoying this - I think they're the only ones. Maybe they're taking bets as to which of them will come on to take part in this game that currently looks like a pre-season friendly.

There will be one minute added on at the end of the first half. Fiorentina have a late corner.

HALF-TIME: Fiorentina 0-0 Esbjerg

The first leg was good, however this one is fizzling out very disappointingly. There have been very few chances and both teams are playing as if it's already over. It might well be, but it was still a poor first 45.

Fiorentina have not been dominant in terms of chances, but they have been comfortable in possession and have had the better efforts on goal. They don't need to expend too much energy trying to score tonight and they certainly haven't so far.

Hopefully there will be more chances in the second half. So far Matos has skied an effort on the turn and has also tested Dubravka down low with a shot from the edge of the box. Aside from that a Compper header just wide has been the closest either team has come.

The home players are coming back out and already look to have more energy than they did in the first half. We'll be back underway shortly.

Gomez, who was non-existent in the first half, kicks things off with Matos and we're back off and running.

GOAL! Fiorentina 1-0 Esbjerg (Josip Ilicic)

That's by far the best moment of the game so far. Ilicic lined up a free kick on the right hand side about 25 yards from goal, and effortlessly clipped it over the wall into the corner. A great free kick, yet it still looked so casual.

Gomez does well to control a pass but his effort from the edge of the box bobbled wide of the near post. Fiorentina have another free kick from the other side - Valero steps up...

CHANCE! The goal has not exactly livened up the play on the pitch, it's just more of a dead cert than it was before. However, that should be 1-1 - Vestergaard was through but drilled a shot straight at Rosati.

GOAL DISALLOWED! Gomez has a goal disallowed - but that's incorrect from the assistant. He had actually timed his run to perfection from Valero's through ball and is unlucky to have it ruled out.

ESBJERG SUB: Pusic is making way for the youngster Ankersen, who played in the first game.

Decent spell of possession this for the away side, but they are unable to penetrate the Fiorentina defence at the moment. Drobo-Ampem shoots from some range, but it goes comfortably over the bar.

FIORENTINA SUB: Rodriguez makes way, applauding the fans on the way off, and it's Tomovic on for him.

Valero has been involved a lot more in this half. He tries a reverse pass to set Mario Gomez away, but the German had gone to his right instead and as such Dubravka was able to gather. It's still a game of few chances.

FIORENTINA SUB: Ambrosini, who has faded as the game went on, is replaced by Marko Bakic. The home fans are in good voice.

CLOSE! Bakic almost has a goal straight away. He struck the ball nicely on the half-volley and it fizzes just past the post with Dubravka beaten I reckon.

ESBJERG SUB: Final change for the Danish side then as Magnus Lekven comes on for Andersen.

So just under 20 minutes left in this one and the result has been decided for quite some time. It hasn't been a game where a goalfest is likely, but there's definitely another in it as Fiorentina turn the screw slightly.

Fiorentina are pressing and probing inside the Esbjerg half. Gomez is looking a little frustrated as he has worked hard this half but has had very little joy.

Everything in the midfield is going through Valero at the moment. He is finding a lot of space and with his four-match ban in the league will be a key player in this competition.

FIORENTINA SUB: Change for the hosts then as Manuel Vargas comes on for Pasqual. Roncaglia is receiving treatment on a blow he took to the nose.

Esbjerg have seen a lot of the ball in the last few minutes and it might be their longest spell of possession. It doesn't lead to a chance, however, and the ball is soon back with Drobo-Ampem in defence.

Late corner here for Esbjerg. A rare one, too. Ankersen goes across to take it. It's their third of the game so far, with the other two both in the first half. Unfortunately it's poor and easily defended by Rosati.

SAVE! Valero picks up the ball in acres of space around 25 yards from goal. He struck it really firmly but it was a good height for the away keeper Dubravka to push away. Valero deserves a goal for his second-half showing.

Good passing move there from Fiorentina, with Tomovic looking for the space to cross, but he's eventually tackled for a corner, which the hosts won't rush to take I'm sure.

CLOSE! Fantastic effort there from Vargas, who does have the ability to score the spectacular. The corner came across to him and his first-time effort wasn't too far wide.

GOAL! Fiorentina 1-1 Esbjerg (Vestergaard)

The away fans have got something to cheer about at last. Vestergaard got into the box and nutmegged Compper far too easily, before clipping a neat effort into the bottom corner for 1-1. A good goal for the youngster, that.

FULL-TIME: Fiorentina 1-1 Esbjerg

So Fiorentina advance to the last 16 with a comfortable 4-2 aggregate win. It wasn't the best game but Esbjerg gave a good account of themselves and scored a late consolation. Thanks for joining me tonight folks!
