Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sanctions Paul Pogba sale?

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy to sell Paul Pogba this summer in order to improve his transfer budget.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy to sanction the summer sale of Paul Pogba.

The France international revealed last week that he is ready to leave Old Trafford in order to take on a new challenge, likely at Real Madrid or Juventus.

Club officials allegedly have little interest in parting ways with the 26-year-old, partly due to chief executive Ed Woodward valuing the player's worth away from the pitch.

However, according to the Daily Star, Solskjaer would prefer to sell the World Cup winner in order to boost his transfer funds ahead of the new campaign.

The Norwegian is said to have £100m to spend, although a large chunk of that is likely to go on signing Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Another report has suggested that United have been frequently placing offers below the valuation of their transfer targets.
