Bath Rugby ease past Bordeaux Begles

Bath Rugby get the better of Bordeaux Begles 15-6 away from home in their European Challenge Cup clash.

Bath Rugby have registered a 15-6 victory over Bordeaux Begles at Stade Chaban-Delmas in the European Challenge Cup Pool 2.

George Ford kicked all 15 points for the visitors to help them open their campaign with a comfortable victory.

Bath led 9-3 at half time, thanks to the fly-half's three penalties, and continued to dominate proceedings after the break.

The 20-year-old scored two more three-pointers in the second half, and although Emmanuel Saubusse slammed over two kicks for the French hosts, Bath emerged with the points.
